The athletic training facility, which caters to scholastic athletes, will open near the St. Johns Town Center this fall
JACKSONVILLE, FL (June 22, 2021) – Franklin Street has represented D1 Training, a scholastic training and adult fitness facility with locations throughout the country, in securing its first location in the Jacksonville market. The 8,800-square-foot facility will cater to youths and adults looking to improve their fitness. The facility is set to open this fall, with a second location coming soon.
Franklin Street’s Abby Walsh, Senior Associate, and Carrie Smith, Managing Director, of the firm’s Retail Services Team, negotiated the lease on behalf of D1 Training. The landlord, NAI Hallmark, was represented by its own Eric Yi and Austin Kay.
“It’s exciting to see the first D1 Training facility come to Jacksonville,” said Walsh. “Our market has many strong scholastic leagues that D1 will be able to service, while also providing training to those at a higher level. As a Jacksonville native and former college athlete myself, I would have loved to have had access to a D1 during my formative training years.”
The space at Millennium Business Center, 11744 Beach Blvd., is conveniently located near I-295, making it easily accessible from multiple pockets of Jacksonville. It is also just 3 miles from the St. Johns Town Center.
Conor Blount, the franchisee bringing D1 Training to Jacksonville, is a former college football quarterback who played at Oregon State University and Eastern Kentucky University.
