LandQwest Commercial has added Cynthia Shelton and Kane Morris-Webster from Colliers International Central Florida to help grow its capital markets/investment divisions statewide.

The pair bring more than 55 years of combined commercial real estate experience to LandQwest. Shelton, who has been in commercial real estate for 40 years, spent the last decade at Colliers International. Morris-Webster joined Colliers 15 years ago and became a partner in 2008.

“We are elated to welcome Cynthia and Kane to the LandQwest team,” said Julia Sosa, managing principal for the LandQwest Orlando office, in a prepared statement. “This is a huge win for us. We have partnered with women who have blazed a trail in commercial real estate. In their new roles, these incredibly accomplished women will identify tenured recruits to accommodate the intense demand for investment-grade transactions.”

Meanwhile, Tampa-based Franklin Street debuted an Orlando office, with Kurt Keaton as president of real estate and management services, as well as regional managing director. Keaton joined Franklin Street earlier this year after spending 16 years with JLL.

Melissa Hazlewood, who also spent more than a decade with JLL, will serve as vice president of property management for Franklin Street.

The company plans to announce new hires and new clients in the near future.

“This was an easy decision for us,” Keaton said in a prepared statement. “Our growth is based on the needs of our clients, and as the opportunities continue to grow in that market, it became increasingly important for us to have a local presence. Not only will we be able to better service their needs, but we see a lot of opportunity for business development.”
