ATLANTA (April 19, 2022) – Franklin Street has expanded its Atlanta team with the addition of Laura Stephens, a diversely experienced corporate real estate specialist, who will focus on growing the firm’s service offerings for office occupiers throughout the Southeast. She joins Franklin Street as Senior Director of Corporate Occupier Accounts.
“As Franklin Street continues to grow in Atlanta and across the country, we are thrilled to welcome Laura, whose diverse experience, deep market knowledge and commitment to her clients adds significant value to our team,” said Monetha Cobb, Regional Managing Director of Franklin Street’s Atlanta office, which now has over 50 team members.
Stephens brings 13 years of experience in the industry, working with and representing a wide variety of real estate users, from small businesses to major international corporations. Throughout her career, she has taken on diverse roles overlapping in the areas of commercial real estate, corporate real estate, finance, sales, sustainability initiatives and project management. This experience allows her to expertly represent clients in complex lease negotiations, developing repositioning strategies for commercial properties, managing corporate real estate portfolios and more.
Prior to joining Franklin Street, Stephens served as senior director of global real estate with Equifax. Before that, she spent nine years with Cushman & Wakefield where she primarily represented office tenants.
“Franklin Street’s client-centric culture along with the ability to collaborate with experts across numerous specialties and product types was highly appealing,” Stephens said. “As the company continues to expand nationally, there is so much potential to achieve success on behalf of our corporate occupier clients.”
