Sandy Springs — as anyone knows who lives, works, plays or visits there — has one of the busiest and most diverse dining scenes in metro Atlanta.

The Perimeter is one of the most sought-after areas for restaurants, given the number of headquarters, offices, shopping centers and residents. The area boasts one of the largest central business districts in metro Atlanta, home to the corporate HQ of Newell Rubbermaid Corp., Cox and State Farm.

Now, restaurants and other retailers have a leasing opportunity at Perimeter Pointe, a shopping center located at 1155 Mount Vernon Highway with 125,000 square feet of retail space still available for lease through commercial real estate broker Franklin Street.

“Perimeter Pointe is owned by SITE Centers, a developer known for its premium open-air shopping centers and great locations,” said Monetha Cobb, senior vice president of retail leasing for Franklin Street. “Together, we’re working to bring the best retail and restaurant options that will not only bring value to the center but to the community as a whole.”

The restaurant space is primed for either sit-down or quick-serve options which serve the heavy daytime population due in part to the area’s fastest-growing office market. The gym, sporting goods store, home goods store and cinema typically drive traffic to restaurants and retailers, making this a great opportunity to serve the trade area, which has nearly 80,000 households with an average household income of $116,215.

One of the key differentiators for Perimeter Pointe is that it’s home to the Sandy Springs MARTA station, which makes it especially accessible to shoppers and diners. It’s also minutes from I-285 and Georgia 400.
