Franklin Street is currently seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our team in Tampa, FL.
The ideal candidate must possess 3-5 years of marketing and communications experience, specifically in public relations. A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is required. To be successful in this role, the candidate must have knowledge of off-line marketing disciplines such as direct marketing, collateral development, public and media relations, and event marketing. Position Overview:
The Marketing Specialist will manage branded materials and ensure consistency across platforms. They will act as the primary point of contact for marketing needs within the Insurance business line, addressing requests and ensuring effective communication between teams and the marketing department. The Marketing Specialist will also execute strategies to enhance brand awareness, manage social media content, and analyze marketing data.
- Ensure that all branded materials—such as emails, flyers, newsletters, and deliverables—adhere to corporate-approved templates and maintain consistency across all platforms.
- Act as the primary point of contact for marketing needs within the business line, addressing requests and ensuring effective communication between teams and the marketing department.
- Execute marketing strategies developed by the marketing manager and Insurance Line President to bolster brand awareness and generate business opportunities tailored to the specific business line.
- Collaborate with PR team to draft press releases and identify strategic opportunities for press engagement, enhancing visibility for the business line.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns by updating promotional materials, maintaining schedules, and updating calendars.
- Proactively reach out to producers each quarter or prior to major events to discuss and execute collateral updates, ensuring all teams are aligned and equipped with the latest marketing resources.
- Support the development of custom pitches for significant deals or proposals, ensuring that they meet broker needs and align with business line objectives.
- Execute and manage the posting schedule for social media content, ensuring posts are timely, accurate, and consistent with branding guidelines.
- Collect and analyze data for marketing reports specific to the business line, providing insights that inform future marketing strategies.
- Assist in updating the internal marketing dock with relevant information and resources, ensuring all team members have access to the latest materials.
- Assist in ordering promotional items and printing collateral for events while providing on-site support to gather content, assist brokers, and handle marketing-related tasks.
- Provide support by attending events to gather content, assist brokers, and handle any additional marketing-related tasks.
- Assist teams in organizing and preparing for industry events.
- Assist in creation and execution of a formal Client Appreciation program
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing & communications
- Knowledge of off-line marketing disciplines i.e.: direct marketing, collateral development, public and media relations, and event marketing preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.
- Must have knowledge of office administrative procedures, and knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment, at a level generally acquired through 3+ years of related experience. Must possess demonstrated administrative/organizational skills.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal direction/supervision.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated and proactive in managing projects.
- High level of proficiency in computer skills including MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Publisher, and PowerPoint) and internet / application software is required along with a willingness and ability to learn new software programs.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Excellent data entry skills are required. Experience working with databases a plus.
- Prior experience working at a Real Estate company is preferred.
