Jacksonville Daily Record: Players Grille anticipates $1.2 million build-out in Brooklyn

Players Grille is preparing for tenant improvements on the ground floor of Home2 Suites by Hilton Jacksonville Downtown, which is taking room reservations for April 28 and beyond and listed as “coming soon.”

The city is reviewing a permit application for Jacksonville-based Avant Construction Group to build-out the space at an estimated project cost of $1.2 million at 600 Park St. JAA Architecture, also based in Jacksonville, is the architect.

Plans show 3,085 square feet of enclosed space and 1,755 square feet of exterior space.

Players Grille leased the ground-floor restaurant space at the Home2 Suites in the Brooklyn area of Downtown.

Franklin Street Regional Managing Director Ricky Ostrofsky posted on LinkedIn in July 2023 that the restaurant will lease the space as part of the hotel’s development “in Jacksonville’s booming Brooklyn submarket.”
