ICSC Coverage: Retailers Modify Store Footprints in Preferred Markets

ATLANTA — If attendance at the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Southeast Conference is any indication of how the retail market is performing, things are looking up. This year’s conference, held Oct. 28 – Oct. 30 in Atlanta, attracted more than 2,500 attendees, up 9 percent from last year.

Franklin Street negotiates lease for new gym in Orange Park

Jamie Swanson of Franklin Street, a full-service commercial real estate firm, negotiated a 10-year lease for Training Ground Fitness, a new gym in Orange Park. The 22,500 square foot space, located at 1564 Park Avenue, was formerly occupied by a Save-A-Lot grocery store. The gym is scheduled to open later this year. It will be owned and operated by a local businessman who bought World Gym franchises to the area within the last decade.
