Franklin Street Adds Leading Self-Storage Team to National Investment Sales Platform

Frank DeSalvo and David Perlleshi will leverage their expertise to provide comprehensive real estate solutions for self-storage investors nationwide

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (September 27, 2022) – Franklin Street, a full-service commercial real estate brokerage and insurance firm, has welcomed two leaders in the self-storage investment sales market. Frank DeSalvo and David Perlleshi, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, will build a national practice focused on representing self-storage owners and investors.

DeSalvo and Perlleshi join Franklin Street as senior directors. They each bringing over 10 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry and are well-versed in guiding clients through, acquisitions, dispositions, development, site selection and asset valuation.

The pair began working together in 2017 at New York-based Houston Street Capital, where they specialized in self-storage acquisitions and development throughout the Southeast. Most recently, they worked with Sands Investment Group, advising self-storage investors nationally. Consistently recognized for their strong production, they earned Sands’ highest tier award for top producers in 2022.

The addition of a self-storage practice is part of Franklin Street’s national expansion strategy. In addition to building out their investment sales team with top talent, DeSalvo and Perlleshi will collaborate with Franklin Street’s insurance, capital advisory, leasing and management professionals to provide the full scope of real estate solutions for clients in the self-storage industry.
