Matus to advance firm’s growth strategy
TAMPA, Florida (April 16, 2025) – Today, Franklin Street, a national and fully-integrated commercial real estate services firm headquartered in Tampa, Florida, announced it has promoted Greg Matus as Executive Vice President, effective immediately. Matus, who has been with Franklin Street for 11 years and previously served as Managing Director, is based in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office and will continue to lead the firm’s Capital Markets business line that includes Investment Sales and Capital Advisory. In his new role, Matus will also have expanded external responsibilities related to advancing the firm’s growth strategy.

Matus will focus on recruitment, advancing the firm’s brand in key markets and across the industry, and work to identify institutional level clients. As the firm executes its growth strategy to meet rising demand nationwide, it has set its sights on Dallas for its next expansion market while also focusing on increasing its presence and service offerings across its business lines in its existing markets including Austin, Atlanta, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Nashville, Miami, Orlando and Tampa.

Matus has been involved in thousands of transactions valued at more than $5 billion with expertise spanning retail, multifamily, hospitality, office, industrial, and land. He is experienced in building successful and efficient teams that focus on client success and has played a key role in recruitment efforts for Franklin Street to date. He is highly active in the commercial real estate community and serves as a member of the National Association of Office and Industrial Properties, Urban Land Institute, and International Council of Shopping Centers.
