The South Florida expansion of Franklin Street, a full-service commercial real estate company, continues with the addition of Dan Dratch and Tony Gannacone as investment associates specializing in multifamily transactions. Both producers focus on transactions across South Florida.

Dratch and Gannacone work closely with Franklin Street’s Greg Matus, regional managing partner of South Florida, who also serves as mentor, manager, and trainer for the office’s multifamily and retail investment agents.

Prior to joining Franklin Street, Dratch worked for the CoStar Group, Inc. in Miami as a sales executive. He was responsible for new sales and revenue growth across all of CoStar’s commercial and multifamily data, analysis, forecasting and marketing services. He has closed more than $600,000 in annualized revenue and managed a book of business of more than $1.5 million in annual revenue.

“I’m thrilled to join a company that is committed to growing its footprint and I’m looking forward to using my market knowledge to the benefit of our investors,” Dratch said. “This is an exciting time to be in the multifamily transactions arena, and Franklin Street is well-positioned to address the strong interest from buyers and sellers.”

Gannacone brings more than 15 years of progressive business development, asset acquisition, debt finance and restructuring and investment banking achievements. Previously, he served as a managing director for NextGen Coal and then, as vice president of strategic sales and acquisitions. In this role, he was responsible for the origination, analysis, and executive of large land-based transactions.

“The multifamily sector in South Florida is on fire,” Gannacone said. “Investors of all sizes are clamoring to find acquisition opportunities in the region. Franklin Street has a unique platform to capitalize on the market demand.”

Dratch received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, N.Y. Gannacone graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics.
