Franklin Street Expands Leasing Activities in Jacksonville with addition of Associate Katy Figg

JACKSONVILLE (February 25, 2014) — Katy Figg joins Franklin Street Real Estate Services’ Retail Leasing team as an Associate in the company’s North Florida office. Franklin Street recently moved to a new location at 7751 Belfort Parkway in Jacksonville, Fla.

JACKSONVILLE (February 25, 2014) — Katy Figg joins Franklin Street Real Estate Services’ Retail Leasing team as an Associate in the company’s North Florida office. Franklin Street recently moved to a new location at 7751 Belfort Parkway in Jacksonville, Fla.

Figg specializes in retail landlord and tenant representation and will assist in managing the company’s North Florida shopping center portfolio of more than 2.6 million square feet. She works with a variety of national and regional clients including Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches, Kimco Realty, Save-A-Lot, Great Clips, Hibbett Sports, and Tijuana Flats helping her clients secure the best possible lease terms.

Carrie Smith, Regional Managing Partner for Franklin Street, believes the addition of Figg and the new location will help the office better serve its growing presence in the area.

“Katy brings a fresh perspective to our current marketing efforts in her transition from the Charlotte market which adds tons of value to our clients,” said Smith. “Not only will she be a huge asset to our clients but she also has the energy and the teamwork mentality we have come to expect from our agents.”

Figg has already immersed herself into the local business community, recently becoming Chair of Next Generation, a young professionals’ group of the North Florida chapter of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

“It is refreshing to join an office of predominantly young professionals who have already made quite a name for themselves in the local real estate community,” said Figg.

Prior to joining Franklin Street, Figg was a Brokerage Associate at Katz & Associates Corporation where she was responsible for letter of intent preparation, site research analysis, market research, and preparation of market study packages. She began her real estate career as a Marketing Assistant with Inland Real Estate Group of Companies Inc. where she assisted the leasing department.
