Franklin Street, a Tampa-based real estate services firm, promoted commercial real estate and capital markets industry veteran Laura Gonzales to regional managing director and market leader of the firm’s Jacksonville, Florida, office.
In her expanded role, Gonzales will continue as director of capital markets in addition to overseeing growth of the firm’s various business lines in the North Florida market. She will also lead recruitment efforts in the area as Franklin Street looks to hire investment sales and leasing representation professionals.
Gonzales joined Franklin Street in December 2019 as a director, leading the firm’s capital markets business in Jacksonville. In 2020, she ranked as a top producer and secured several new business opportunities while growing her team and closing high-value capital markets transactions, according to the firm. Previously, Gonzales had a 20-year career as a lender, most recently as vice president and senior relationship manager at TD Bank and holding senior executive positions at BBVA Compass and Bank of America before that.
