A 20-year veteran of the retail market will take an even bigger role at a growing real estate services company.
Monetha Cobb has been promoted to regional managing director-Atlanta with Franklin Street, one of the city’s 20 largest commercial real estate brokerages. Cobb is a founding member of the Tampa-based company’s Atlanta office. She most recently served as senior vice president of retail services.
In her new position she will lead Franklin Street services including property management, project management, leasing and investment sales. She will also continue overseeing the company’s national retail and leasing businesses.

In Atlanta, more suburban retail projects — including several regional malls — are poised for an overhaul. And, developers are circling with plenty of capital.
Cobb told Atlanta Business Chronicle malls occupy “great pieces of real estate” and “communities have been developed around them.”
“There’s a great canvass for some cool stuff to happen,” Cobb said.
