Reid Mason joins Franklin Street’s Atlanta office as director of retail leasing, specializing in shopping center leasing and landlord representation throughout Georgia, eastern Alabama and southern Tennessee. Mason works with a variety of local, regional, and national clients including Kimco Realty Corp., Westwood Financial Corp., The Malon D. Mimms Co.,and Sandor Development. With more than six years of landlord leasing experience, Mason will be responsible for a portfolio of more than 3 million square feet in retail space.
Franklin Street is growing at a rapid pace, hiring 11 new employees since the beginning of this year.

Prior to joining Franklin Street, Mason worked as a leasing agent for The Malon D. Mimms Co., where he consistently ranked as the company’s top producer. He was responsible for turning around multipleunder-performing properties into profit centers, growing his portfolio from six to 25 properties totaling more than 2 million square feet of retail space.

Mr. Mason is involved in the real estate community and an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He has served on the ICSC Next Generation Committee since 2013 as well as on the Board for the Young Atlanta Retail Alliance (YARA) since 2012. In 2013 he served as a Round Table Moderator for the ICSC Southeast Annual Meeting.
Mason graduated with his bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Alabama and is a licensed real estate agent in the state of Georgia.
