Patrick Mullowney, Senior Director of the Franklin Street Student Housing Team, began his real estate career with a focus on “where students spend money.” Patrick and his partners have built out an institutional student housing brokerage team over the past 6 years and have brokered well over $500 million in assets from Berkley, California to Gainesville, Florida. His main goal as a broker is to continue developing a nationwide network of opportunities while creating the most value for both buyers and sellers. Patrick actively assists clients and investors, both institutional and non-institutional, with acquisitions, dispositions, and financing of student housing investment property across the country.
Patrick graduated from the University of Cincinnati with degrees in International Business and Finance and worked for Procter & Gamble and the Cincinnati Reds before venturing into real estate. In these roles, he quickly learned his personality was geared towards entrepreneurship. His passion for investment real estate ultimately led him to Marcus & Millichap with a focus on campus investment properties. While at Marcus & Millichap, Patrick and his partner closed the largest deal in the Cincinnati office’s history and was consistently recognized as the #1 highest producing team in the region. Patrick has evaluated well over $5 billion worth of student housing investment real estate in college towns across the US and has toured over 50 campuses nationwide.
