Zach Ames serves as a Senior Director for Franklin Street Real Estate Services specializing in A, B and C class multifamily properties across Central and West Florida. Mr. Ames also has experience in LIHTC (low-income housing tax credits) as well as urban development HUD transactions. His experience in underwriting and marketing properties with an extensive knowledge of the Central and west Florida markets enables him to serve his own clients with reliable and timely results.
Mr. Ames has overseen the underwriting and marketing for more than $1 billion worth of multifamily properties. His ability to spot trends and create high value for his clients helped close 185 transactions valued at over $1 billion from 2012 to 2020. Mr. Ames embraces the Franklin Street collaborative platform, allowing him to give value-added services with the highest exposure possible to his clients. This collaborative approach has become a leading sales method for the investment sales industry.
Most recently, Mr. Ames was awarded the 50 Under 40 by Globe Street/Real Estate Forum. Additionally, Mr. Ames was named a 2017 Up and Comer, 30 under 30 by the Tampa Bay Business Journal. He has received Franklin Street’s Sales Achievement Award from 2014-2020 for outstanding sales. In 2013, he was named the firm’s Rookie of the Year for surpassing his sales goals.
Mr. Ames continues to be involved in the Tampa real estate community regularly attending industry events and courses. He currently sits on the REIC (Real Estate Investment Council) board of directors. He is also a member of the Emerging Leaders of Tampa Bay (a Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce program),
Mr. Ames graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He is a licensed Florida Real Estate Salesperson.
