Ryan Derriman serves as Director for Franklin Street Real Estate Services specializing in leasing and landlord representation, disposition, and land transactions for clients throughout Tampa Bay and the west coast of Florida. In addition to these responsibilities, he also assists developers with site selection for shopping center development and tenant representation assignments.
He currently leases more than 1.8 million square feet and has represented a variety of national and regional landlords including Inland American, Armstrong Development, Paradise Development, Kimco Realty, Delhaize Group, and several local owners and developers.
Mr. Derriman is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). He has been recognized with Franklin Street’s Sales Achievement Award from 2015-2018. Mr. Derriman was honored as a 2013, 2015 and 2017 CoStar Power Broker – the company’s youngest agent to receive this honor. He also received CREW Tampa Bay’s Retail Lease Excellence Award in 2017.
As a Tampa Bay native, Mr. Derriman is familiar with a variety of sub-markets throughout Florida, understanding their history, growth patterns, and development. Prior to joining the company‚ he earned a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University while he worked for Benchmark Construction and Cornerstone Realty in Tallahassee, Fla. Mr. Derriman is a licensed Florida Real Estate Sales Associate.
