Professional Experience

With over 20 years of diverse experience in the real estate industry, Len Erickson specializes in advising owners and developers in the positioning and leasing of large-scale, mixed-use projects.

As Senior Director, he brings expertise in guiding clients through the entire development process, from site selection and project feasibility through disposition. He also leads project leasing, while closely collaborating with Franklin Street’s local landlord and tenant advisors to curate the ideal tenant mix to maximize the value of each project.

Mr. Erickson’s background ranges from sourcing tenants for new mixed-use and specialty retail projects to repositioning and re-tenanting existing properties. He has worked across virtually all product types and is especially well-versed in dense, urban environments with high barriers to entry.

Prior to joining Franklin Street, Mr. Erickson served as Senior Vice President of Leasing with Fuqua Development. In that role, he oversaw project curation and leasing primarily for new projects with a focus on innovating tenant mix and seeking creative partnerships with users that enhance the mix-use experience.

During his 10 years with Fuqua, he worked with some of the most notable mixed-use developments in Atlanta and throughout the Southeast including The Battery Atlanta, a 60-acre development anchored by the Atlanta Braves; Kennesaw Marketplace, a 53-acre development anchored by Whole Foods; The Exchange at Gwinnett, an-89 acre entertainment/experiential mixed-use project; and Madison Yards, a 17-acre dense urban mixed-use development fronting the Beltline, anchored by AMC and Publix with ~500 multifamily residents.

He has also previously held positions with Wieland Commercial Group and John Wieland Homes.
