Katy Taylor is a Senior Associate with Franklin Street’s Retail Leasing team in Orlando, Florida. As part of this team, Ms. Taylor is focused on retail landlord representation for Central Florida’s top property owners, investors and managers.
Her responsibilities include representing the best interest of landlord clients through all activities of the leasing process. Ms. Taylor’s goal is to fill vacancies with quality tenants that strengthen a property’s value. While she primarily works with landlords, she also assists the firm’s tenant representation business, working to secure quality locations for growing and new-to-market retailers.
An Orlando native, Ms. Taylor brings in-depth local market knowledge to her role which serves as an advantage for her clients. She also brings a strong passion for retail, having always been fascinated by the ever-evolving customer experience and how retail shapes people’s daily lives.
Before joining Franklin Street in 2021, Ms. Taylor worked with an Orlando-based commercial real estate firm, where she handled a wide variety of leasing-related duties for retail and restaurant clients. She also provided support for the company’s development team.
Ms. Taylor earned a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Business from the University of Central Florida, where she was an active member of the UCF Real Estate Club. She also got involved with NAIOP Central Florida while earning her degree and remains a member today.
