Ian Brown is an Associate with Franklin Street Insurance Services’ National Accounts Multifamily & Affordable Housing Team in Tampa, where he is developing specialized expertise in multifamily insurance solutions. He works with property owners, investors, and developers to help them protect their assets, strengthen risk management strategies, and achieve long-term stability.
In his role, Mr. Brown collaborates with his team to provide tailored insurance strategies that address the unique needs of multifamily portfolios. He focuses on aligning coverage with client objectives while leveraging Franklin Street’s platform to deliver greater efficiency and long-term value.
Mr. Brown began his career in commercial real estate with RIPCO, concentrating on retail leasing. He also gained entrepreneurial experience with Southwestern Advantage, where he built and managed a direct sales business generating more than $1 million in retail value while still in college. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Hillsdale College and is an active member of ULI.
