Eual Tyler Cathey is an experienced attorney and commercial real estate professional. Working for Ally Capital Group, he provides counsel on all legal matters while managing litigation risk, protecting investment assets and advising on regulatory issues.
In his role, Mr. Cathey leverages a broad skillset, crafted over years of accomplishments in various fields. Most recently, he served COO and General Counsel for Franklin Street, where he provided leadership and guidance for a rapidly expanding commercial real estate firm handling billions of dollars in transaction volume. Prior to that, he served as the principal advisor to Florida’s Attorney General with responsibility for overseeing nearly 500 lawyers and 1,300 employees and advising on all legal and administrative matters associated with the office. He also brings experience in sophisticated litigation on behalf of national clients with Holland & Knight.
