As Director of Risk Management and Claims, Eric Smith oversees Franklin Street’s claim management division providing risk management and claims advocacy consulting services. In this role, he is able to assist clients with the most cost-effective strategies to mitigate total cost of risk including the oversight and management of the claims process while supporting the development and implementation of risk control strategies.
Prior to Franklin Street, Mr. Smith worked for a Jacksonville-based broker, Harden, for nine years and served with Liberty Mutual Insurance for 12 years in various claim and management roles.
Mr. Smith graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania majoring in Finance and minoring in International Business. He Is a Certified Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), an Associate in Management (AIM), and an Associate in Claims (AIC).
