Yvonne Baker, Regional Managing Partner at Franklin Street, will be honored with a Notable Knight Award at the 2017 University of Central Florida College of Business annual Hall of Fame banquet on Feb. 23 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Florida.
Baker has more than 25 years of leasing experience in the local commercial real estate market, and currently leads both the Orlando and the Jacksonville offices and employees for Franklin Street, a full-service and vertically-integrated commercial real estate firm. The Notable Knight Awards recognize UCF business alumni who displayed promise and excellence in their respective career paths.
Baker has generated a lease volume of more than $350 million with over 4.5 million square feet of executed leases. She also worked with institutional and regional clients such as Highwoods Properties, Equity Office Properties, Steelbridge Capital, Starwood Capital Group, Invesco Real Estate, Crocker Partners and Parmenter Realty Partners.

“I returned to UCF to obtain my master’s degree in 2010 for the love of learning,” Baker said. “It turned out to be the catalyst for new, incredible opportunities in CRE. My time at UCF helped me embrace that life truly is a journey that is improved with education and good working relationships.”
Baker earned her bachelor’s degree in Finance and master’s degree in Real Estate from the University of Central Florida. She has received several industry recognitions including being named a CoStar Power Broker from 2011 to 2014, Orlando Business Journal’s 2014 Women Who Mean Business and NAIOP’s President Award in 2015.
