ORLANDO—Jaeb Center for Health Research, a nonprofit medical research organization, on behalf of Tower Realty out of Orlando, just inked a 33,000-square-foot lease. The deal was renewal and expansion.
Jaeb signed a seven-year term deal. The research firm will occupy the entire third floor of the 33,000-square-foot class A office building in Tampa, FL.
“Jaeb is now the largest anchor tenant of the building,” says Clay Wommack, director of office and industrial agency leasing for Franklin Street. “We are thrilled that Jaeb chose to remain in this building and expand. The quality of the asset and its location were key points in their decision.”
The 86,000-square-foot building is located at 15310 Amberly Drive in the Tampa Palms Community Development District. The office building is surrounded by high-end residential.
That puts Jaeb near major medical facilities including the University of South Florida, Florida Hospital, and the Moffitt Cancer Center. Jaeb shares the office building with several other medical users including a dermatologist, a dental surgeon, and several health care providers. SABR Chemicals Group, UBS Financial Services, Florida State Representative Shawn Harrison, and Regus executive suite services are on the tenant roster.
