Franklin Street Relocating Tampa Headquarters to Accommodate Growth

Firm will occupy new space in Westshore submarket of Tampa and serve as leasing agency and property manager.

Franklin Street, the southeast’s fastest growing, full-service commercial real estate firm, announced plans to relocate its existing Tampa, Fla., headquarters to the Austin Center.  The newly renovated space, located at 1311 Westshore Boulevard, is part of a five-building business park in the Westshore submarket of Tampa Bay.  Franklin Street signed a long-term lease to occupy 22,000 square feet across two floors where it will relocate close to 100 employees. The move supports the firm’s plans for continued expansion. Franklin Street’s Project Management Division is leading the renovation process and expects to complete the work by March 2019.        

Built in stages between 1967 and 1975, the 295,000-square-foot Austin Center is in the largest commercial market in the Tampa Bay region. Franklin Street’s Office and Industrial division will serve as the leasing agency for Austin Center and the firm’s Property Management division will oversee management for the 10.4-acre facility.
