Today, Franklin Street announced that current chief operating officer Tony DeSisto has been named president. The new title signifies the important leadership role DeSisto will play internally and externally as the company looks to capitalize on its growth strategy in the coming year.

His extensive entrepreneurial and legal expertise has not only strengthened our corporate framework but also played a vital role in providing leadership across our businesses.”
DeSisto joined Franklin Street in 2019 and was named chief operating officer, a title he will retain, in January 2022. Under his leadership, the firm has taken necessary steps to scale its business by investing in its platform, people and culture while continuing to provide bespoke solutions to clients across the country.

Despite challenging market conditions over the last two years Franklin Street expanded to Austin, Charlotte, Nashville and Cincinnati, where it launched its student housing vertical in October 2024. The firm is targeting Dallas for its next growth market to meet demand in the state that is home to the world’s 10th largest economy. Franklin Street is also focused on growing its presence and service offerings across its business lines in Miami, Nashville, Charlotte and the country.
