An experienced leader, Ostrosky’s primary objective is to foster the firm’s talent and boost its market presence in North Florida
JACKSONVILLE, FL (September 26, 2023) – Franklin Street is pleased to announce Ricky Ostrofsky has been named Regional Managing Director of the firm’s Jacksonville office. In this new role, Ostrofsky is responsible for overseeing and growing all aspects of the firm’s business in the North Florida market, including leasing, investment sales, capital advisory, insurance, project management, and property management.
In his new role, Ostrofsky will guide Franklin Street in strategic growth initiatives, expanding the firm’s full-service capabilities, talent and market share across the office, industrial, multifamily, retail and healthcare sectors.

For many years, Franklin Street has had a great reputation for our retail agency leasing and tenant representation services, and in recent years, has grown to include strong land and multifamily brokerage teams as well. Ostrofsky joined Franklin Street in November 2016 as a Leasing Associate. Prior to joining the firm, Ostrofsky began his career as a Retail Leasing Assistant with The Shopping Center Group, where he helped manage a portfolio of retail shopping centers throughout North Florida and Southern Georgia.
Ostrofsky consistently ranks as a top producer with Franklin Street and has also been recognized as a 2021 Next Generation Award Winner by Connect CRE and a 2022 Power Broker by CoStar.

Further, Ostrofsky is highly involved with Best Buddies International as well as JASMYN, where he is a Properties Board Member. Additionally, he is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), serving as the 2018 – 2019 ICSC Next Generation Chair, 2019 Idea Exchange Committee Co-Chair, and a current member of the Florida Next Generation Committee.
In addition to appointing Ostrofsky to this new role, Franklin Street also recently relocated its Jacksonville office to Downtown Jacksonville, which provides the firm with space needed to accommodate its continued growth.
Ostrofsky added, “Jacksonville is on a great path now in terms of overall growth, we have hit the major milestone of having a population greater than 1,000,000 people. The increasing density is causing some interesting changes in the commercial real estate market.
