A 20-year leasing veteran, Cobb will focus on growing the firm’s full-service capabilities and market share across all asset types and business lines
ATLANTA (Oct. 8, 2021) – Franklin Street has promoted Monetha Cobb to lead its growing Atlanta office.
An industry leader in the Atlanta commercial real estate market, in her new role as Regional Managing Director, Cobb will guide Franklin Street in strategic growth initiatives, expanding the firm’s talent and market share across the office, industrial, multifamily, retail and healthcare real estate sectors.
As Atlanta market leader, Cobb also is responsible for overseeing Franklin Street’s dynamic business lines, including leasing, investment sales, capital advisory, insurance, project management and property management.

Cobb joined Franklin Street in 2010 as a founding member of its Atlanta office and leader of its Retail Services Team. In the last 11 years, she’s played a significant role in boosting the firm’s visibility in Atlanta and throughout the Southeast, while leading a multi-market team in closing more than a thousand transactions and representing hundreds of local, regional and national brands. She also is focused on the continued development and advancement of the firm’s internal team and culture as Franklin Street stands out as a top location for talent.

In addition to her role as Regional Managing Director, Cobb will continue to serve as Senior Vice President of Retail Services, co-leading the firm’s national retail tenant and landlord leasing business along with Franklin Street’s Carrie Smith, based in Jacksonville, Florida. Cobb also serves as a member of Franklin Street’s Board of Directors, which guides the company’s overall direction and growth strategy.
Cobb consistently ranks as a top producer with Franklin Street and has earned several production and merit-based awards within the firm, including its Leadership Award for her outstanding leadership skills, as well as the Top Earner Award and the Largest Leasing Fee Award. She has also been honored within the local and national commercial real estate community, being named a “Who’s Who in Commercial Real Estate” winner by the Atlanta Business Chronicle, an “Atlanta Power Woman in Commercial Real Estate” by Bisnow and a “Woman of Influence” by Globe Street / Real Estate Forum.
Cobb is also highly involved with a number of prominent industry groups, including the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Atlanta, where she is a past president and graduate of the CREW Leadership Class of 2008. She also serves her community supporting several local groups including Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Camp Twin Lakes and the Atlanta Women’s Foundation.
