Franklin Street, a full-service commercial real estate firm, announced today that Bob Boyd has joined the company’s Capital Advisors division as a director in the Atlanta office. In this role, Mr. Boyd will specialize in providing customized equity capital strategies to clients for financing real estate assets across the Southeast. He is an award-winning real estate professional with over 30 highly successful years of experience in acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development, zoning, and management problem solving.
“Bob brings a vast amount of experience and industry knowledge to our capital markets team,” said Casey Siggins, director of loan origination for Franklin Street’s Tampa office. “Having him on board will allow us to provide added value to our clients in the Atlanta region.”
Previously, Mr. Boyd served as managing director for Bullock Mannelly Partners in Atlanta, where he was responsible for placing equity financing for commercial real estate developers and investors. As a partner and associate broker for JWB Realty Services, he secured capital and properties for investment and development of retail, residential and industrial properties.
Mr. Boyd has held senior leadership positions with major commercial real estate firms, including Trellis Companies, Advantis St. Joe, and Grubb & Ellis Company. He also represented a wide range of institutional and private clients including American Express, Reynolds Aluminum, Acosta, McGuire Woods, Capital One, Kraft, Schwinn, Bank of Montreal and Harris Bank.
Highly regarded in the Atlanta real estate community, Mr. Boyd served as Chair and Past President for the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors and received the group’s Commercial Realtor of the Year Award. He is a Past Chairman and Founder of the Realtor’s Commercial Alliance, a chapter of the National Association of Realtors. Mr. Boyd received his bachelor’s degree from Purdue University. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
