Franklin Street announced today the hiring of a new investment associate, Chris Ford, who will specialize in the marketing and sales of multifamily assets in the Georgia market, with a focus on greater Atlanta. As part of the multifamily investment advisory team, Ford is responsible for conducting the underwriting of disposition and acquisition opportunities, performing financial modeling, and coordinating acquisition and disposition due diligence.
“Chris’s entrepreneurial spirit and real estate background make him a valuable addition to the multifamily investment team,” said Jake Reid, senior director at Franklin Street. “Chris is a self-starter with a strong work ethic and willingness to jump in head first. He will be an integral part of the growing multifamily business line by building strong, sustainable client relationships and ensuring deals are finalized in an efficient manner.”
Ford obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the University of North Georgia. While attending the university, he founded a landscape design company and developed an interest in real estate.

Next year, Ford plans to pursue a Master’s of Science in Real Estate from Georgia State University. He is also a licensed real estate sales associate in the state of Georgia.
