Franklin Street, a full-service commercial real estate firm, announced today that Kyle Coughlin has joined the company’s Retail Landlord Services division as an associate. Mr. Coughlin will focus on landlord representation in the retail sector for clients across the Tampa Bay market. He will work in the firm’s Tampa headquarters alongside Alex Wright, senior director of Retail Landlord Leasing. Mr. Coughlin joins the Franklin Street Tampa leasing team with expertise in strategic marketing, market analysis, site selection and executing retail leasing transactions.
Most recently, Mr. Coughlin served as transaction manager for Energy Real Estate Solutions in Denver, where he provided ongoing management of commercial real estate transaction activities for a defined portfolio of properties on behalf of corporate clients. He previously worked as a transaction specialist for CBRE’s Denver office and delivered analysis and support services for the U.S. Postal Service, one of the largest tenant representation client accounts in the country with a portfolio of almost 30,000 properties nationwide. Mr. Coughlin also served on active duty for seven years with the U.S. Air Force.

Mr. Coughlin earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Vanderbilt University. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in Florida and Colorado. He also completed several certification programs related to military service including Working Dog Handler/Trainer, Military Police Certification, Jumpmaster Certification and First Emergency Responder.
