Franklin Street arranged a five-year lease for The Village Barbershop’s first Florida location in the Windermere submarket of Orlando at 13790 Bridgewater Crossings Boulevard. The barbershop recently celebrated its grand opening at The Retreat at Windermere, a luxury apartment community featuring on-site retail shops and restaurants. The Village Barbershop is open five days a week (Tuesday through Saturday). Franklin Street’s Tim Rogers represented both the landlord and tenant in the transaction.
“The location in Windermere offered the shop’s owner, John Collado, a unique retail opportunity in the heart of an upscale, amenity-filled apartment complex,” said Rogers, a retail leasing associate at Franklin Street’s Orlando office. “Franklin Street is grateful we could help The Village Barbershop serve the residents of Horizon’s West and Windermere by providing an authentic, old-school barbershop experience.”
The Retreat at Windermere is nestled on scenic Lake Speer, within 30 minutes of downtown Orlando, Orange County Convention Center, Walt Disney World, and other tourist attractions. Current tenants include Melts 33, Scribble Space, Indigo Spa, MetroFL.com and Global Travel.
