JACKSONVILLE, FL (January 18, 2021) – Franklin Street, a full-service commercial real estate firm, has arranged four leases at a speculative retail property in Jacksonville, bringing the Class A suburban strip center to 100% occupancy. The property, owned and developed by Jacksonville-based Corner Lot Development Group, is set to deliver by the end of the first quarter of 2021.

Franklin Street’s Carrie Smith and Ricky Ostrofsky, of the firm’s Jacksonville Retail Services Team, represented Corner Lot Development Group in the four leases, which include local and national brands.

The tenants are:

  • Pearle Vision, a national eye care center and optical retailer (2,280sf).
  • DEP Nails & Spa, a luxury salon providing nail and skin care services (1,800sf).
  • Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, a growing Florida-based franchise offering authentic Italian ice, creamy soft serve ice cream and gelati (1,200sf).
  • Sadhana Eyebrow Threading, a professional beauty treatment center providing a variety of cosmetic services, which already has several locations in the Jacksonville market (1,200sf).

Located at 1195 St. Johns Parkway, the 6,480 square foot multi-tenant building at Parkway Place at Durbin is adjacent to the brand new Goodwill and Circle K properties, also developed by Corner Lot. The location in north St. Johns County is considered a high-growth suburban market with a number of new retail and multifamily developments underway. A new interchange on Interstate 95 positions Parkway Place at Durbin within minutes from downtown Jacksonville, St. Augustine and the Jacksonville Beaches.

“With its frontage along St. Johns Parkway and Racetrack Road, this site was prime for retail development,” said Ostrofsky. “We are pleased to have worked with Corner Lot to get this property fully leased right on time with its scheduled delivery.”
