Smashburger, a growing fast-casual hamburger restaurant concept, has hired Franklin Street to help find new locations throughout Broward County. The company recently announced it was planning to open at least five new restaurants in the county over the next four years through a franchise agreement with PCM Food Services, LLC.
The restaurant, which offers smashed-to-order Angus-beef hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, French fries, salads, and shakes, has more than 360 locations worldwide and has plans to add 80 more this year. Currently, there are two restaurants in Broward- Fort Lauderdale and Pembroke Pines.
Franklin Street currently represents Smashburger on the West Coast of Florida, South Florida and Jacksonville markets. Cammi Goldberg, director of retail leasing, is handling the lease assignments in South Florida for Franklin Street.
