Franklin Street Arranges 20K-SF Lease with Burlington at Atlanta Area Shopping Center

The lease brings a 311,396-SF shopping center in Cumming, Georgia, to 100% occupancy

ATLANTA, GA (April 28, 2022) – Burlington has signed a lease joining other national retailers in Forsyth County, Georgia. The 20,388-square-foot lease at the Cumming Town Center, located 35 miles north of Atlanta, is a strong sign of growth in Georgia’s retail market.

Franklin Street’s Atlanta Retail Services Team of Sam Kreuger and Kaitlyn Theriot represented the landlord, Beachwood, Ohio-based Site Centers, a publicly traded REIT focused on investing in well-positioned shopping centers in the suburbs of major MSAs.

Burlington will move into a space recently vacated by Staples, bringing the 311,396-square-foot retail property back up to 100% occupancy.

“After the previous tenant left a sizable vacancy, our team was able to quickly secure a lease with Burlington to keep Cumming Town Center at full occupancy, minimizing loss of income for our client,” said Krueger.

Other tenants at the property include TJ Maxx, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Ulta Beauty, while the immediate trade area is also home to Best Buy, Old Navy, Five Below, Petco and Ashley Furniture Homestore. At 2475 Marketplace Blvd., the property is prominently situated along State Road 20 in Forsyth County.
