Franklin Street Adds 982-Unit Tampa Multifamily Community Owned by ZMR Capital to Property Management Portfolio

Skye Reserve is the second largest apartment property in Tampa Bay

TAMPA, FL (April 13, 2022)Franklin Street is pleased to welcome Skye Reserve, a 982-unit multifamily community to its portfolio of managed properties. The community, located in the Tampa suburb of Brandon, is now the largest multifamily asset under Franklin Street’s management.

Franklin Street will work closely with ZMR Capital to implement significant upgrades to enhance the quality and value of the 1991-built property.

Renovations will include repainting all exteriors, resurfacing the community’s three pools, adding barbeque stations and pergolas to pool areas and converting the tennis courts to a dog park and sports court to better serve residents. Interior upgrades will include new subway tile backsplashes, quartz countertops and stainless-steel appliances in all kitchens, as well as LED lighting and vinyl plank flooring. Further, all units will be equipped with washer and dryer sets and all balconies will be screened in.

In addition to the upgraded pools and future dog park / sports court, amenities at Skye Reserve include a clubhouse with a coffee station, game and gym.

The community features one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans ranging from 630 to 1,200 square feet. The property is located at 1918 Plantation Key Circle with convenient access to Interstate 75, which provides a quick commute to downtown Tampa.

Franklin Street’s Matthew Lopez, Regional Property Manager, will lead a 19-member property management team at the community.
