Beachcomber Beach Resort on St. Pete Beach changes ownership

TAMPA, Florida —
Hodges Ward Elliott, the premier boutique hotel real estate capital markets advisor and a part of Franklin Street’s national platform, announced it has brokered the sale of the Beachcomber Beach Resort. The 102-key beachfront resort is located directly on St. Pete Beach, Florida. The resort also includes approximately 2,100 square feet of meeting space, two heated outdoor pools, and Jimmy B’s Beach Bar & Grill with daily live entertainment.
“The Beachcomber is a rare asset with an outstanding beachfront location on one of the best beaches in the country,” Preston Reid, executive managing director, Hodges Ward Elliott, said. “This market is supply constrained and presents high barriers to entry, which brought significant buyer interest to the opportunity as the asset has demonstrated reliable historical performance while still possessing meaningful upside potential.”
The resort sits on more than six acres. The property includes a parking lot across the street and is located 30 minutes from Tampa International and St. Pete-Clearwater airports. It has walkable access to dining and attractions along Gulf Boulevard, and is in close proximity to downtown St. Petersburg, John’s Pass Village and Boardwalk, and the St. Pete Pier.
