Rob Bickel is a 20+ year veteran in the commercial real estate industry.  Most notably, he has completed approximately $12 billion in transactions encompassing all property types over his career.  Rob brings expertise in credit analysis, finance, lease accounting, tax, and transaction structuring of large, single-tenant portfolios.  Primary focus on mission critical industrial, retail, data center & telecom facilities and office assets.  Recent focus on renewable energy assets.  Rob is instrumental in helping occupiers evaluate real estate alternatives and make the best financial decisions particularly around portfolio optimization, build-to-suit, and sale leaseback executions.

Rob was an Executive Vice President with CBRE and Managing Director with JLL where he was the West Region lead for Corporate Capital Markets.  Before JLL, Rob was the Managing Director and Head of Acquisitions for Sovereign Investment Company focused on providing structured finance solutions to owners and investors of single-tenant assets.   Rob was an Acquisition Officer for Carlyle (formerly iStar Financial) where his sole focus was to underwrite and originate single-tenant transactions across the country in the form of sale leasebacks, build-to-suits, and existing leases. Prior to iStar, Rob spent more than three years with RREEF / Deutsche Bank as a member of the West Coast’s acquisition team.
