Joseph Colangelo is an Associate with Franklin Street’s Insurance Services team in Tampa, specializing in hospitality focused insurance solutions for hotels, resorts and wineries. In his role, he partners with owners and operators to develop customized insurance strategies that help protect assets, support operations, and address the evolving risks facing the hospitality industry.

Colangelo brings more than 20 years of sales leadership experience in the wine and spirits industry, where he built a successful career driving growth, developing strategic partnerships, and leading high performing teams for nationally recognized beverage companies. His background in relationship management and client service gives him a thoughtful, solutions-oriented approach to every client engagement.

Colangelo leverages his extensive understanding of the hospitality space to help clients navigate risk management challenges and insurance solutions tailored to their businesses. His ability to build long-term relationships and understand operational needs allows him to deliver strategic guidance and customized coverage solutions.

Colangelo earned his MBA from the University of North Carolina Kenan Flagler Business School and his undergraduate degree from Florida State University College of Business. He remains actively involved in the local Tampa community through Espiritu Santo Catholic Church.
