Atlanta-based Franklin Street has completed the disposition of two, new-construction shopping centers anchored by Publix Super Markets:
- The Shoppes at Ola Crossroads in McDonough, GA – completed in 2021 and comprises 70,887 square feet of retail space
- Tobesofkee Crossings in Macon, GA – completed in 2020 and comprises 67,887 square feet of retail space
Franklin Street’s Bryan Belk and John Tennant arranged both transactions on behalf of JWA Ventures. The Shoppes at Ola Crossroads sold to an undisclosed buyer and Tobesofkee Crossings sold to Westwood Financial. Both buyers plan to hold the property as long-term investments.
“Grocery-anchored retail continues to attract more interest from investors than any other retail category, as the emphasis on necessity and service-based retail increases,” said Belk.
