Apartment sales heat up across region

Two complexes Sold in Area’s Largest Deal
Tzadik Management acquired a portfolio of Florida apartment complexes containing 2,199 units for $81 million, or $36,834 per unit, the company said.

Darron Kattan, Kevin Kelleher, Deme Mekras and Eliot Shainberg of Franklin Street represented seller Avesta Communities LLC in the transaction.

The Transaction included two properties in Jacksonville.

Tzadik spent $11.9 million, or $37,187 per unit, on the 320-unit Kings Trail apartment complex on the Southeside on Oct. 17, county records show. The seller was H & H Properties.

Tzadik also purchased the Jacksonville Heights complex in Westside for $6.35 million, or $36,705 per unit, on Oct. 17, records show. The seller was 8050 103rd LLC.
