Franklin Street, a full-service, vertically integrated commercial real estate firm, has hired Alec Laethem as an Associate in Insurance Services. Laethem will work with the South Florida regional team led by Ryan Cassidy and Evan Seacat.
In this role, Laethem will grow his understanding of the challenges and strategies of insuring commercial real estate portfolios, of all product types, in the tri-county region, consisting of Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties. He will work closely with the team to help clients assess their needs, organize agency resources, structure competitive solutions, and, ultimately, improve a property’s operating income through reduced insurance costs.
“Alec’s commercial property experience, coupled with his strong customer relations skills, makes him a great addition to our insurance group, which continues to gain new traction in South Florida every day,” said David Fleisher, regional managing partner for Franklin Street in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. “He will help support our veteran insurance professionals and allow us to serve even more clients.”
Prior to joining Franklin Street, Laethem served as a Leasing Consultant for a major student housing property management company.
Laethem received a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Florida State University. He also earned a 2-20 General Lines Insurance License. He will work out of Franklin Street’s Fort Lauderdale office.
