Real estate veteran joins company’s Insurances Services division in Atlanta
Tim Schmidt has joined Franklin Street Insurance Services as a senior director specializing in property and casualty risk management solutions for property owners across the country. In his position, Schmidt will deliver financial solutions for clients while also reducing their total cost of risk ensuring business goals are met.

Prior to joining Franklin Street, Schmidt worked for the Willis Group, leading the real estate and hospitality practice in Atlanta. At Willis, he consistently ranked in the top 10 percent of producers nationwide, and was recognized as part of Willis’ prestigious Exceptional Producer’s Council. Previously, Schmidt served as a producer and partner for Lockton Cos. and was one of the youngest employees to become a partner, sharing the financial responsibility of the office while also growing a personal portfolio of complex consultative sales to national clients.

Schmidt received his Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business and Marketing from Troy University. He is a licensed Property and Casualty Agent in multiple states and has received the risk management certification Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI). Schmidt is an active member of the National Multifamily Housing Council and the American Hotel and Lodging Association.
