TAMPA, FL—After pushing deeper into Jacksonville’s multifamily market, Franklin Street is expanding its service base in Tampa. The firm just added Michaelann Murphy to its commercial real estate mix.
Murphy joins Franklin Street as a director. She specializes in landlord representation and brings nearly a decade of experience in leasing, development and acquisitions to the firm’s Tampa office. Murphy is charged with maximizing value for clients primarily in Tampa Bay and the West Coast of Florida.
“Michaelann brings a depth of experience to our already strong landlord representation team,” says Andrew Wright, CEO and managing partner of Franklin Street. “She will immediately add value to our growing portfolio, as we strive to exceed our clients’ expectations.”
Before joining Franklin Street, Murphy worked as a leasing representative for Sembler Company. There she was responsible finding new tenants for inline, box vacancies and outparcels to increase the landlord’s asset value. During her career she has worked with individual and institutional owners on properties ranging from multitenant outparcels to lifestyle centers.
Murphy is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). She serves on both the Political Action Committee golf tournament and the Ladies in the Biz committees. She has also hosted the ICSC Women’s Special Interest Group Roundtable, geared toward women in real estate. Murphy graduated from University of Tampa with a Master of Business Administration and Cleveland State University with bachelors’ degrees in Finance and Accounting.
