JACKSONVILLE, FLFranklin Street smells opportunity in Jacksonville. The commercial real estate firm just hired Matthew Kesterson as a senior director in the Jacksonville office. He specializes in multifamily investment sales, adding a new dimension to the North Florida office.

Kesterson comes to Franklin Street from Marcus & Millichap, where he worked for 15 years. Over his career, he has completed more than 300 transactions valued at more than $1 billion.

“Matt is a very knowledgeable and experienced agent who has a track record of success,” says Franklin Street CEO and managing partner Andrew Wright. “He will be instrumental in helping us strengthen our multifamily investment sales division throughout North Florida and I expect he will make an immediate impact on our growth in the region.”

As Wright sees it, Kesterson is a crucial addition to the Franklin Street team as it grows its service lines in Jacksonville. For the past decade, he has specialized in multifamily brokerage in the Jacksonville area south to Florida’s Treasure Coast.

“It’s important to our business model to have strong representation of all of our service lines throughout the Southeast,” Wright says. “I have known Matt for many years and we are excited to add such a skilled veteran to our team.”

Franklin Street’s Jacksonville office has focused on retail, office, and industrial leasing and sales, and property management up until now. Kesterson will add a new dimension at a time when the apartment sector is thriving.
