Franklin Street, a full-service commercial real estate company, has strengthened its growing retail team hiring Robert Granda as director of retail investment sales for the South Florida market. Based in Franklin Street’s Fort Lauderdale office, Granda will focus on the acquisition and disposition of both multi-tenant and single-tenant retail properties throughout South Florida, with a heavy focus in Broward County.
Granda will join forces with Franklin Street’s Greg Matus, regional managing partner- South Florida, and retail investment associate, Peter Crane. He will also assist in building the team by recruiting retail brokers for the firm.
Previously, Granda worked at Marcus & Millichap, serving as associate director for the firm’s National Retail Group. During his time there, he specialized in providing advisory services and transactional leadership to commercial real estate investors throughout South Florida, with a concentration in non-anchored shopping centers and single-tenant retail properties.

Prior to entering commercial real estate in 2010, Granda worked in the financial services industry, serving as a licensed financial specialist and associate vice president for Wachovia Bank.
Granda graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and received an M.B.A. from Nova Southeastern University’s Huizenga School of Business.
