It’s one of three locations the breakfast-brunch-and-lunch chain expects to open this year in Jacksonville. Construction is already under way at 4490 Southside Blvd. and in a freestanding location in the Shoppes at Bartram Park.
The Bradenton-based chain already has three existing restaurants in the area: On San Jose Boulevard in Mandarin, on Marsh Landing Parkway in Jacksonville Beach and in Hodges Pointe Plaza on Beach Boulevard. The first one in the area opened in 2011.
Franklin Street negotiated the Riverside lease.
Corner Bakery Cafe closed both of its locations in Jacksonville, the one on Riverside and one on Bonneval Road off Butler Boulevard, in December. Both opened in 2014.
