This year’s TBBJ Fast 50 listing of Tampa Bay’s fastest growing companies represents a diverse mix of industries all pointing to an expanding local economy.
About 15 of the Fast 50 revolve around the construction industry in some way, but even within this sector there is a diversity of service.
There are traditional builders like iConstructors and Highland Homes, but also plenty of support industries like Power Design, Lowes Commercial Painting, Millwork 360 and even College Hunks Hauling Junk. Architecture firm FSA Inc.’s presence on the list shows that real estate is picking up.
TBBJ’s annual Fast 50 list is the fastest growing companies in Tampa Bay based on three years of revenue by percentage growth over that time. The companies have to be headquartered in the Tampa Bay area and have a minimum revenue of $1 million in 2012.
The Fast 50 also shows us that companies are spending money to expand their business because of the sustained growth from marketing/advertising firms like PowerChord and signage companies like Dex Imaging. Companies like Bluewater Media on the list show us that video is a competitive part of the branding landscape.
The companies making up the 2015 list range from law firms and financial services to plumbing and pest control and they all should be proud to be setting the pace for Tampa Bay’s economy.

Sixteen companies on this year’s list also were on the 2014 list, showing their staying power.
AgileThought, Atlas Professional Services, Convergence Consulting, Doctors Administrative Solutions and NetDirector all have been on the list for at least the past three years – meaning their rocketing growth started as far back as 2011.
The 2015 list gives Franklin Street one for the thumb with five consecutive years on the list.
Doctor’s Administrative Solutions now needs two hands to count how many years running the company has appeared on the Fast 50.
Stellar Development has been on the list for four of the past five years.
