ROSWELL, GA — Franklin Street has been tapped to handle retail leasing for Vickers, a mixed-use project under construction along Canton Street in Roswell.
The team is led by Director of Retail Leasing Reid Mason and Leasing Associate Leigh Anne McGarry, and is actively looking for chef-driven restaurants, regional boutique retailers and fitness concepts for the project scheduled to open in December.
“This project is one of the last opportunities for businesses to find space on walkable, bustling Canton Street in Roswell,” Mason said. “We’re excited to merchandise this space to fit the active street life surrounding it, and add even more great businesses to this community, in particular those that will fit the active, stylish lifestyle of both current and future neighborhood residents.”
Canton Street is home to dozens of local shops, restaurants and businesses. The three-level Vickers project will add 6,800 square feet of retail space, including a restaurant with outdoor patio space, and 79 new one-, two- and three-bedroom residential units.
“The mix of apartments over street-level retail will not only maintain but also bolster the current energy and vibrancy of Canton Street,” McGarry added. “We’re looking at restaurants that will fit seamlessly into the fabric of historic Roswell, and targeting serene yoga and pilates studio concepts to give residents an option for boutique fitness without disturbing their daily life.”
Construction is underway on Vickers, which will be the first mixed-use project on Canton Street, which is already known for its roster of eateries and shops, including a craft brewery and weekly farmers market. To add further value for tenants, Vickers will feature a dedicated ride share drop-off station.
