Bringing more than 15 years of experience in commercial real estate, Scott Williams serves as Vice President of Operations for Franklin Street, specializing in property operations, client relations, capital improvement project oversight, leasing planning, and project management.
Prior to joining Franklin Street, Mr. Williams served as Vice President/Group Manager in Florida for JLL and was responsible for the management and building operations of approximately 1.2 million square feet of Class-A space in Orlando. Before his move to the Florida market, Mr. Williams managed multiple class A+ properties in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. During his career, he has successfully completed more than $18 million in capital improvements for various clients. In addition to property management responsibilities, Mr. Williams has served on multiple internal committees, including the committee that evaluated the company-wide budgeting process and software resulting in the implementation of a new product, streamlining the entire organization’s accounting process. He has also participated in various LEED ventures, including achieving the Energy Star designation for a five-building portfolio with four buildings that had never qualified for the certification in the previous 15 years.
Mr. Williams has earned several management excellence awards for his distinction in property management, including The Office Building of the Year (TOBY) Award granted in 2013 through the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). He was also named JLL’s 2015 “Property Manager of the Year.”
Mr. Williams earned his Bachelor in Science in Communications from Old Dominion University and is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the state of Florida. Mr. Williams is also an active member of BOMA’s Orlando chapter.
